Other TV Series

I thought that only my passion to read is getting worse,
now I even don't have any interest in watching tv series.
HA-HA-HA..

Not funny, actually.
It actually one of the way for me to escape from anything.
Yeah, I mean reality..

Out of five tv series that I fave so much before, 
I can only watch The Vampire Diaries and sadly
it wasn't because of Damon and Elena anymore,
it is because of Klaus and Caroline (Klaroline).
Hah, I even know what the fan called them.
And actually I just one step from becoming a stalker to Joseph Morgan..

I cannot live with one tv series.
Waiting for one episode for one week?
And sometimes it even have to reschedule?
No.. No...

So, I decided to get hook on other TV series.
In the journey to find the other addicted tv show I stumble with few.
Some are good, some are not..
So, let's review together..



1. Elementary.


Well, frankly speaking, I always fascinate with Sherlock Holmes. How he weirdly solve the case. Elementary is the modern version of Sherlock Holmes with Watson is a woman. Haha.. Actually it kind of weird for me at first. Watson never a woman, not in any version of Sherlock Holmes story before this.However, beside that, the tv series really cool. It met with all my expectation. And my expectation sometimes really high. 

This tv series is evolve around Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) as a recovering drug addict. His father send him a sober companion Joan Watson (Lucy Liu) to make sure he stay sober. Well, it is expected that he is being hard to his companion at first, but Joan is a good companion and while making sure Holmes stay sober, she also help him in his investigation and make Holmes appreciate her more than his companion. 

I just hope that they will not have whatever feelings to each other. It will make the relationship of real Sherlock Holmes and John Watson seems gay.. This definitely worth watching.


2. The Following
The tv series evolve around retired FBI, Ryan Hardy (Kevin Bacon) that were calling back to work because  the serial killer that he captured, Joe Carrol (James Purefoy) were escaped from the prison. The series started really nice. Carrol escaped from the prison to torture Hardy because he catches him and more importantly Hardy had an affair with his wife within the time he was in trial. Within that time Carrol was in prison, he somehow manage to have a few - many actually - follower that willing to do whatever he ask because they were influenced by his ideal of killing (and so ever) and become a cult as him as a leader.

 It was exciting for me at first waiting the brilliant criminal plans to destroy Hardy. How he manage to talk to people to do work for him with 100% loyalty and he seems to have plan for everything. But at one point, he act really cruel to his lawyer and make me decided to stop watching. Haha.. It is nice to see a genius criminal plotting his revenge in plan but when he decided to go old school - just awfully killing the person, I think it is enough for me. But maybe in the future when I already bored with other tv series, maybe I'll go back to this one. Who knows?
3. Transporter

For those who had watched Transporter (the movie) will incline to watch the series. It have 100% similarity with the movie in terms of the story line. Except different actors and he does not work alone; he had help from friends regarding the goods that will be transport and his car maintenance. Well, at first it was exciting watching a nice looking man with the great technique of driving. But same as movie, he had  relationship with almost all his female client. So, in this case he had one night stand with different woman every episode. So it quite disturbing. Haha.. So I decided to take a break.. Other than that, the series is okay..


4. Nikita

When I tried to find for a good tv series, somehow this tv series were one of the listed. So I decided to give a try. The story is about Nikita (Maggie Q) who rebel from Division - a secret government funded organization that gone bad- and want to take down the Division. She worked as an assassin in Division so she had all the spy technique. She had help from one of Division victim Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) that managed to get into division and giving out information of the Division from inside.

The first thing that pop from my head when I watch the tv series is, it is really real. You know about some act that you thought it was ridiculous like; how they know? how can she escape? what is this? and all that. In this series, they portray the act like real. Even Nikita can not win all the fight and somehow she needs help and sometimes she got in trap. Not some perfect main character that were untouchable. I already finished season 1, walking to season 2..

The only thing that I did not like about this series is, they killed Thom. They suppose to let him live. I am actually hoping for Thom or maybe his twin (you know what tv series is) might pop up in the future. -Pray-


5. Person of Interest



Harold Finch (Michael Emerson) - a bilionaire and computer genius - build a machine that able to spy all people in America and have an ability to predict future terrorist attack. The machine is build to avoid another 9/11 attack. However, instead of only detect terrorist attack, the machine also can predict future crimes. The future crimes is considered irrelevant by the machine, and will be deleted by the machine by midnight everyday. Finch wants to take the matter on his hand so, he hired John Reese (Jim Caviezel) a former CIA to help him in the mission.

Unlike Nikita, this story have all the ridiculous thing. Somehow, whatever condition, with how many people, Reese able to make out of the situation. Sometimes I even think they did not even try hard to make a reasonable reason for something can be happen. Haha. However I still hook with the series because I could not resist the good guy. 

Bad guy is good, but when  good guy doing a bad thing for a good reason, it is awesomely cool. I just finish Season 1, cannot wait for Season 2.. 



I actually trying to find a tv series that have a good love story.
Something that I can worship for (if you know what I mean).
So far, I am out of luck.

Actually I decided to write this entry in Malay, but because both of songs here are english, so better write in that languanga. (Whatever, hehe..)
