It's been years since I last watched korean drama. The last two years, all the korean tv series that were proposed by my friends have the same genre.
*the hero and heroin at the beginning will fight,
and at the end they will be together.*
and at the end they will be together.*
Even sometimes I can predict what happen next..
So, it makes me feel bored.
However, as someone that is very easy to be influence, when my favourite author Syud writing a review about one of the korean drama series, I instantly hooked. Among all the reviews I choose to watch My princess because it seems cute and more light compare to others.
And it is really good. They basically have the main story line. They fight first, and gradually like each other. But the most favourite part in this drama is the heroin is very strong.
You know when in other drama, when the heroin in trouble there will be some knight with the shining armor come to rescue her; whether it was the hero or the other characters. But in this series, the heroin basically stand on her own and the relationship between the hero and heroin is basically on themselves, not about all the side problems that occur between them.

The drama was beautifully played by Kim Tae-hee and Song Seung-hun.
Please google for more details of this drama..
And as a normal girl, I couldn't help drooling over Song Seung-hun.
Then I google for his latest news.
That's where I found this beautiful drama..
When a Man Loves
A little summary:
Han Tae-Sang (Song Seung-Heon) is a former gangster, but now a successful business man. He has a cold-blooded decisiveness and incredible drive. This helped him to attain his current status, as he started with nothing. He then meets a younger woman named Seo Mi-Do (Shin Se-Kyung). Her personality reminds him of himself when he was that age. Han Tae-Sang begins to feel love for the first time in his life. - Asian Wiki
It a little bit like any story of Beauty and the Beast. The beast fall in love with the beauty and willing to do anything to make sure that the beauty stay by his side.
The drama was so dramatic. The romance started when the heroin, Mi-Do wanted to give Tae-Sang a chance. She try to be his girlfriend as Tae-Sang can be her boy-friend. So, they did all the cute couple things.. Tae-Sang was so cute as 'couple' is a new thing that he never tried, and Mi-Do call him Tee Tee as his nickname.
However, being an ambitious women, Mi-Do have her own dream. In a company trip, she met Jae-Hee (Yeon Woo-Jin). Jae-Hee encourage her to achieve her dream. They instantly fall in love. However due to her current situation with Tae-Sang, she try to forget Jae-Hee. Unfortunately, Jae-Hee become her department's boss, while Tae-Sang is the owner.
When there is an opportunity of Mi-Do to achieve her dream, Tae-Sang oppose it as she must stay overseas for two years. Due to misunderstanding, Mi-Do blame Tae-Sang as she lose the opportunity. That's the beginning of their conflict.
With Jae-Hee that still fall head over heels for Mi-Do, try to control his feeling but miserably fail. Then they have a secret relationship. But it is not too long before Tae-Sang found out.
Jae-Hee is indebted to Tae-Sang as Tae-Sang took care of his study and the reason he is in his current position. However, he blindly in love with Mi-Do and willing to do anything to get her.
There were many conflicts as each of them hold very hard to their dreams. Then finally Tae-Sang willing to let Mi-Do go. During the conflicts, the relationship between Mi-Do and Jae-Hee is weaken. SO, they parted their ways.
Until one day Mi-Do come to Tae-Sang's bookstore (used to be her family's) and wanted to worked there. At first she did not know it was Tae-Sang's until they met.
It was a perfect ending with a cute dialogue.
Tae-Sang : Go sleep at home. I won't hire you.
Mi-Do : What's the reason? Why won't you hire me?
Tae-Sang : Because I might like you again.
Mi-Do : I don't want to leave.
Tae-Sang : Why don't you want to go back? (She stay silent).
I asked why you don't want to go back. (Tae-Sang smile)
Mi-Do : Because I might like you again.
Though many don't like the ending as it seems cliffhanger.
Or Tae-Sang deserved so much better than Mi-Do.
But for me, it was perfect... for the unperfect wolrd.
